Eunice Morrison-Thrasher was born in the rural community of Blevins, Arkansas. She
pursued her higher education at Ouachita Baptist University, obtaining a Bachelor of
Science degree in Speech Pathology. Motivated by her dedication to assisting children
with special needs, she obtained her Special Education certification from Philander
Smith College. Eunice furthered her academic journey by attending the University of
Central Arkansas, where she achieved a Master of Science in Educational Leadership.
She boasts a distinguished career spanning 40 years with the Little Rock School
District, concluding with her retirement in 2022 following sixteen years as Principal of
Dunbar Magnet Middle School.
Eunice was married to Michael Lavell Thrasher for forty-three (43) years and blessed
with their beautiful daughter, Mickail. She is “Honey” to her amazing twin
granddaughters, Rhylie and Rhyen, known as her “little heartbeats.” In April 2021,
Eunice’s life took a traumatic turn in the passing of her husband, Mike, after a lengthy
illness.
In March 2023, Eunice accepted the position of Director of Business Development at
Secure Financial Solutions. She loves and appreciates the family-oriented atmosphere
of the organization, dedicated to educating and sharing with others the benefits of
financial security before and after retirement. She works to secure potential new clients
by sharing her financial story prior to her employment with Secure Financial Solutions.
Eunice always tries to give a “HUG” and “SMILE” to those she meets! She says, “You
never know who needs one or both!”
